I've become use to not using my laptop battery at all and keeping that completely separate so my computer can't turn on, overheat and shut itself off again. If disabling Load startup items resolved the suspend problem, enable one startup item and test to see if the problem occurs again. Won't go to sleep? I think ever since I installed updates like the Safari Internet…maybe waaay before that, I lost BOTH my Hibernation and Sleep Mode.
